Routes Speech Therapy is a mobile pediatric practice cruising through central North Carolina, bringing warm, play-based, neurodiversity-affirming therapy right to the families who need it.
We believe every child has their own unique route to communication, and we're here to honor that route, whatever it looks like. Whether your child is finding their first words, exploring AAC, working through articulation, or building language skills, we'll meet them exactly where they are and ride alongside them every step of the way.
No sterile clinics. No fluorescent lights. Just a cozy converted bus, a whole lot of toys, and a therapist who is truly in your corner.

Here's how we roll
Routes Speech Therapy comes to you in a converted bus that has been transformed into the coziest little therapy space around. It is part rolling clinic, part playful hangout, and 100% kid-approved.
Here's how it works:

Our bus parks in Johnston, Nash, and Harnett counties for in-person services

Therapy happens inside the bus or outside, whatever your child prefers that day

Parents are always welcome (and encouraged) to join in

Everything we do is play-based and follows your child's lead
Prefer to skip the bus? We've got you. Teletherapy is available for families anywhere in North Carolina.
A quick note: Our cruiser is currently under construction! In the meantime, services are happening in homes, daycares, and public spaces. We'll let you know the second she's ready to roll.
HI, I'm TrIstan!
I'm the speech-language pathologist (and driver) behind Routes, and I am so glad you're here.
I'm a North Carolina licensed, ASHA-certified SLP with experience in early intervention, schools, specialized programs, and working with young adults. I love working with toddlers, autistic kids, late talkers, complex communicators, and AAC users. Basically, children who learn, connect, and communicate in their own unique way.
I started Routes because I wanted to grow access to quality speech therapy, both financially and location-wise, and well, I had the chance to buy a bus. (How do you say no to that?)
My philosophy is simple: let kids be who they are and support them through play and connection. I want therapy to feel fun, and I want every child and parent to know I'm in their corner 1000%.
When I'm not in session, you'll probably find me with an iced coffee in hand, hanging out with my two cats, or deep in my ADHD craft of the month.
